Roger J. Cooper is an internationalist by background. He was born in Mexico City, educated in England and the USA, lived in half a dozen countries and speaks several languages. He is now retired from an international banking career with Citibank and J.P. Morgan Chase that afforded him the ability to live and work throughout Latin America and in Europe and Asia as well. For the last 10 years of his working life, he was responsible for Chase’s operations throughout the Western Hemisphere in the areas of Securities, Treasury, Derivatives, Capital Markets and Foreign Exchange. Since the inception of CLC, some 20+ years ago, he has served on the Board as Chairman, with the exception of the first two when he served as Treasurer. Additionally, he has been the Chairman of the CLC Foundation Board since the entity became active.
Linda Sampson, Esq., Vice Chairman
Linda is an attorney who received her Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. She is also a licensed real estate broker in New York. Linda began her career in finance, focusing primarily on real estate, property tax grievances, pension solutions for the self-employed, wealth management and securities arbitration. Linda contributes a significant amount of her time to charity, including Community Living Corporation and Community Living Corporation Foundation where she has participated in various roles for nearly 25 years.
George "Jerry" Moskowitz, CPA, Treasurer
Jerry has a BBA in Industrial Psychology and an MBA in Public Accounting from Baruch College of the City University of New York, as well as an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Yeshiva University and a Certificate in Group Psychotherapy from Washington Square Institute. Jerry is a board member of both the CLC Foundation and Advocates for the Disabled Inc. (ADI). Jerry has over fifty years of experience in public and private accounting and thirty years' experience as a psychotherapist. Jerry's daughter Jenny has lived at CLC for the past 10 years.
Mercedes Minoff, Director
Jack is a retired attorney. He has lived in Westchester County, NY for decades, where he has done much charitable work, including being on the Board of CLC Foundation. Jack has a daughter, Suzanne, who is a resident at CLC.
Matthew Persanis, Esq., Director
Matthew has a BS Degree from SUNY Oneonta and a Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law. Matthew is a Partner in Elefante & Persanis, LLP, a boutique law firm specializing in labor, employment and real estate matters. Matthew's sister, Christine Persanis, is a resident of a CLC Group Home.
Lisa Hayden Raue, Director
Lisa holds a BA in Political Science from Vassar College and is a former finance professional who has dedicated the last 15 years to non-profit volunteer work while raising a family. She has held leadership positions in grassroots fundraising, volunteer organizing, non-profit management, corporate funding and educational enrichment. While employed in the treasury of a major corporation, she initiated and implemented several new funding programs and served as consultant to corporate businesses on finance issues. Lisa volunteers at the Bedford Hills Historical Museum, Town of Bedford Meals on Wheels, Community Center of Northern Westchester - Food Pantry volunteer and the Bedford Central School District.
